09:16:04 <Rubidium> peter1138: there still is a packet size limit, though it depends on the packet how big it is. Max is about 32 kB IIRC. However, it depends on what has already been written to the packet, so it's not like there is an easy limit. It's kinda: the caller must ensure the packet doesn't get too full, otherwise asserts start to trigger.
09:22:38 <peter1138> Okay, I decided the best course is to just not pre-reserve the vector. A little inefficient, but means a malicious client won't cause a huge allocation. The deserializer will fail if passes the end of the buffer.
