08:31:52 <andythenorth> _zephyris: Maybe this, yes
08:32:19 <andythenorth> Or constraint for minimum lake size
08:32:49 <andythenorth> “No lakes” is probably easier, just one contiguous water tile pass?
08:47:36 <rito12_51026> andythenorth: Make it only available during mapgen and allow to spawn new ports only near old ones
09:03:05 *** dh1 has quit IRC (Quit: My Mac has gone to sleep. ZZZzzz…)

11:09:08 <ahyangyi> _zephyris: I should make a "no lake heightmap" some time
11:09:57 <ahyangyi> no lake but water and land everywhere
11:11:00 <ahyangyi> A fixed up version of this?...

11:31:09 *** SigHunter_ has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 480 seconds)
11:56:47 <_zephyris> It's one of the easy fixes to make mapgen a little more interesting - connecting water bodies till there's only one. Could also convert unconnected water to land. Or some combo of the two depending on water level setting.
12:26:58 *** SigHunter has joined #openttd
12:55:16 <peter1138> "easy fixes" implies the implementation is easy.
12:56:32 <peter1138> Doing things like that can 'break' the sealevel percentage settings.
13:12:14 *** keikoz has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 480 seconds)
14:36:37 *** toktik is now known as Guest24893
15:11:41 *** adm_pizza has joined #openttd
15:11:41 <adm_pizza> Hope this is okay to ask here - I'm trying to find a bit of info on the .SCN save file format, does anyone have any comprehensive documentation on it?
15:11:41 <adm_pizza> I know it's like super compact binary, but I can't seem to find anything concrete about it beyond poking through the saveload code (and there's not much I can get from that without a deeper understanding of the project itself).
15:11:41 <adm_pizza> I wanted to try my hand at a bit of savegame editing!
15:12:54 <peter1138> A scenario file is exactly the same as a savegame.
15:14:02 <adm_pizza> ooh very nice, that could be what I'm looking for
