17:17:27 <Supercheese> the only newgrf changes I consider 'safe' are upgrading from an earlier version of a newgrf to a current version when the min_compatible_version allows upgrading
17:18:04 <Supercheese> which usually means the newgrf author is confident that the updates won't bork the game, but even then they may not be correct
